Because of Hanna´s contacts in Japan we got this great opportunity to meet this Japanese gentleman who had been teaching in Finland back in the days. Nowadays he owns this Finlandia Bar in Kyoto. Bar is in an old geisha house. We got to go upstairs of the bar where everything was still like it had been when the building was still the geisha house. There we herd really interesting stories about geisha culture and the history of Japan in general. This was definitely one of the highlights of my trip.
