Odaiba

Fuji TV Broadcast Centre

Rainbow Bridge

Ferris Wheel

Venus Fort

When visiting Odaiba like most visitors we took the train Yurikamome that loops you across the width of Tokyo Bay via the Rainbow Bridge. It kind of felt like when you are in roller coaster. Of course ride is not as fast and you do not go upside-down or anything but landscapes were great.

The architectural centerpiece of the island is the Fuji TV Broadcast Centre, whose 25th-floor observation deck opens onto views of the city. No guide book told us that Broadcast centre is closed on Mondays. So of course we went Odaiba on Monday because it was clear sky in the morning and we were hoping to see great views. Well we took the next best thing available there and hopped on Ferris Wheel next to Palette town.

Venus Fort dominate the rest of the landscape, with big-name shops, theme dining and game arcades. On the 3rd floor of Venus Fort there is Tokyo´s largest outlet mall and 1st floor has Petcity Pecos and Pet Paradise shops for pet owners. Range of clothing for dogs in those shops is bigger than you can imagine without experiencing it yourself. You could easily spend whole day in Venus Fort if you are into shopping.
