At Kyoto we visited this small alley of artisans. Our timing was a bit wrong so only a few of the shops were open. Artisans on this alley have their small shops and working spaces at the street level of their houses and their homes upstairs. I love that way of living and I am almost hoping that I could live that way some day in the future. In the first pictures you can see one artisan who made those little bags and wallets and the second artisan who's shop we visited was painting converses.
